    What Is Anti Wrinkle Treatment?

    Botox® is a prescription-only medication (POM)derived from Botulinium Bacteria. It is not an animal based product.


    It is typically used to treat lines and wrinkles around the eyes, forehead and eyebrows.

    How Does It Work?

    The aim of the treatment is to stop the muscle from contracting causing it to relax. Restricting the movement of the muscle means the skin above the muscle will also have limited movements thus giving a smoother appearance.

    How Long Does It Last?

    What Are The Side Effects?

    The most common side effects are redness and swelling which subsides within the hour. Occasionally, you may also develop bruising. This is due to the use of very fine needles used to administer the treatment in to the muscle.
